Douglas K. Freeman, J.D., LL.M.

Chief Executive Officer
Doug Freeman has been a consultant for over 200 family foundations, support organizations and public charities worldwide. He is a director of seven family or independent foundations and the following public
charities: UC Irvine Foundation (Vice-Chairman) and Orange County’s Pacific Symphony (Vice Chairman and past Chairman of the Board).
He is a noted tax and estate planning attorney and founder of the law firm, Freeman, Freeman and Smiley, LLP, with locations in Los Angeles and Irvine, CA. A much quoted expert and author of many articles in legal and financial publications, from Trusts & Estates to legal journals, Mr. Freeman was named by Bloomberg as one of the nation’s leading estate planning attorneys.
He is founder of National Philanthropy Day, proclaimed by Congress and celebrated throughout the United States since 1986. Mr. Freeman is co-author, with Dr. Lee Hausner, of The Founder's Guide to Family Foundations, published by the Council on Foundations.
Mr. Freeman is a graduate of Stanford University (A.B. with Distinction, 1967), University of California at Los Angeles (J.D.,
1970) and the University of San Diego (LL.M. in Taxation, 1984). He is a Certified Specialist in Taxation under the State Bar of California.

Lee Hausner, Ph.D.

President
Lee Hausner served nineteen years as the senior psychologist for the Beverly Hills Unified School District and today is an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, business consultant and family wealth advisor. She is the co-author of a leading treatise on business succession planning, Hats Off to You: Balancing Roles and Creating Success in Family Business Succession. Dr. Hausner and Mr. Freeman co-authored The Founder's Guide to Family Foundations published by the Council on Foundations. Author of many articles and books on the topic of wealth and family, she wrote the definitive work: Children of Paradise: Successful Parenting for Prosperous Families.
Dr. Hausner is a graduate of Northwestern University (Bachelor of Arts, Psychology), San Francisco State University (Master of Arts, Psychology) and Kensington University (Doctorate, Psychology).

Carrie L. Huntley

Chief Operating Officer
Carrie Huntley directs the administration and marketing of the Company, and is responsible for public relations, media and communication, corporate development, policy assessment, logistical support, and human resources.
Carrie previously held administrative positions at the National Academies of and Sciences and Engineering, the University of California, Irvine and Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC.
Ms. Huntley attended California State University, Fullerton, majoring in Business Administration.

Chad J. Latham

Vice President,
Foundation Services
Chad Latham's
expertise in the development and operation divisions of a
variety of non-profit organizations brings additional depth to the relationship management and administration aspects of IFF Advisors. Chad,
who leads
the technology and systems team, research and knowledge management group as well as the foundation administration division of the firm, previously worked with the Pacific
Symphony Orchestra, Claremont McKenna College, Marymount College, and
the University of Washington. He has been an active member and presenter
at conferences of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education
(CASE) and is a current member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement
(APRA). Chad has also been a member and regional facilities chair
for workshops of the California Advancement Researchers Association (CARA).
Chad received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Whitman College,
Walla Walla, Washington.

Sara N. Garske

Senior Advisor,
Foundation Services
Sara Garske manages a portfolio of foundations at IFF Advisors, Inc. She has an extensive background in higher education fundraising, event and program planning, volunteer management, and has been a recipient of four CASE (Council for Support Advancement and Support of Education) Awards of Distinction and Excellence.
Sara has been an active member and presenter at conferences for CASE, Meeting of the Minds, and AGPN (Annual Giving Professional Network); she has also served as President for AGPN for one year. Sara is the Sponsorship Co-Chair for CASE District VII 2008 Conference, and serves as a Class Agent for her alma-mater.
Sara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Government with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington.
