Ann Hult Crowell

Former CEO

Crowell McKay, Inc.

 

Ann Hult Crowell founded Crowell McKay, Inc., a California based, full service, AAAA, advertising and Public Relations firm and grew it into one of the region's largest, award-winning firms headquartered in Irvine with a branch in Arizona. The firm gained national recognition through the highly successful campaigns created for a broad range of major clients and a host of start-ups and turn-arounds. CMI clients included: Nordstrom, Doubletree Hotel, C. J. Segerstrom & Sons, Tucson Visitor & Convention Bureau, Public Transit Districts, Arnell Development Co., Warmington, Trammel Crow, Grubb & Ellis, Great Earth Vitamin Stores and Lawry's. Following CMI, Ann was a Co-President of PeopleWorks™ serving clients such as UPS, Kraft Foods, Nestle, PacifiCare and others. Ann currently chairs TEC groups in Orange County.

Ann has won over 75 national and international awards for her writing and creative direction. She has published 4 books and numerous articles on business topics from marketing to organizational transformation. She has taught marketing courses at USC, Chapman College Management Program, and conducted seminars at several UC Campuses throughout California. Ann was one of two women from California invited to speak at Inc Magazines 1st Annual Conference for Entrepreneurial Women.

She has served on private, non-profit and academic boards including: Discovery Toys, The Forum for Corporate Directors, Friends of UCI, UCI Chancellor's Club, University of California/Irvine Foundation, Retirement Knowledge, Board Chairman of American Women's Economic Development Corporation (Orange County), and a Trustee of St. Margaret's Episcopal School.

Ann Crowell is an honors graduate of the University of Arizona where she received a BS/BPA Degree in marketing and finance. She has one daughter and lives in California.

Don Dahl

Don Dahl is a partner in Grant Thornton, LLP’s Southern California practice and the practice leader for it’s tax practice. He has more than 24 years of experience as an advisor to emerging businesses and their owners, focusing on their long-term business growth and succession issues, while coordinating the interaction of personal financial objectives.

Don has consulted with many of the highest-profile business owners and families California. He has helped these high net-worth business owners and their families plan for the future, by integrating the strategic direction for their tax issues, business, and estate planning with their financial and personal objectives. Don has extensive experience with charitable giving strategies and private foundations, and advises wealthy families on how to structure their civic contributions to achieve their charitable and personal financial goals. Before joining Grant Thornton, Don was employed by Arthur Andersen, as Partner in Charge of the Family Wealth Planning Practice and Center for Family Business, in Orange County.

Don has a BA in accounting from Whittier College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Pacific Incubation Network. Don is a past member of the Orange County Estate Planning Council. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Pacific Symphony and the Wyland Foundation.

David R. Dukes


Vice Chairman
RSI Holding Corporation

 

David R. Dukes is Vice Chairman of RSI Holding Corporation, a privately held manufacturing entity with annualized revenues of $400 million. RSI manufactures and distributes cabinetry and countertop products for the home.

Dukes spent most of his career as an executive in the personal computer industry, including nine years in retail and franchising and nine years in distribution. He retired in 1998 from Ingram Micro, the world’s largest distributor of technology products and services, with annual revenues of $23 billion during Dukes’ final year. During his tenure with Ingram Micro, Dukes served in multiple capacities, including Co-Chairman, Vice Chairman, President and COO. He was also co-founder and CEO of Ingram Alliance, Ingram’s highly successful aggregation business that drove permanent change in distribution practices by major computer suppliers. Computer Reseller News, the leading trade publication of the pc industry, has recognized Dukes on several occasions as one of the industry’s “Top 25 Most Influential Executives”.

Upon retirement, Dukes remained active in the personal computer industry by founding and chairing the Global Technology Distribution Council (GTDC), with the purpose of defining and driving worldwide standards for electronic commerce. Council membership is restricted to the CEO and those who are second-in-command of the world’s largest technology distribution companies. Dukes was also an active investor in technology start-ups during this period.

Dukes is involved in numerous charitable causes. He currently serves as Chairman of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) Foundation Board of Directors, and also serves on CHOC Hospital’s Board of Directors.

Allan Lubitz

Allan is a well-respected technical management consultant and founding partner of the ANR Consulting Group, based in Orange County, California. By balancing visionary strategic thinking with fiscal and operational accountability, Allan has helped companies grow and improve their profitability. He has held senior executive positions with TRW, Experian, First American and General Motors/Ditech Mortgage providing leadership in areas such as technology, process management and product innovation. Allan has an undergraduate education in Chemistry and Biology from Hiram College and an MBA in International Business from Loyola Marymount University. He is very active in the community and serves on several boards including the Pacific Symphony Orchestra.
